My friends and I went to Lucky Cheng's (Drag Cabaret Dinner Theater) last night to celebrate my best friend Kiara's 20th birthday! hahaha... it was HILARIOUS.

I got back from Maine on Friday night. I don't know if I ever mentioned it here, but I was there for a week with family :) I don't feel like posting pictures from Maine yet, but here are some random ones from Saturday...

My flight is at 12am tomorrow night, so this'll be my last post until August. Expect TONS of pictures when I get back!! :)
I did some last minute hanging out with a few friends today. We went to this incredibly hip & cute karaoke bar on 32nd Street (K-Town) called "WOW Karaoke". I LOVED IT! We were so amused when the song started and the lights started flashing, hehe. It was TRIPPY. If you're in New York City with a big group of friends, I definitely recommend you go to WOW or Duet 35!
Oh, and while I was in Herald Square, I also did some last minute birthday shopping for my mom. Her birthday is today, hah! Yes, everything I did today was "last minute"... I got her a cute Ralph Lauren dress to put over her bathingsuit and a card that plays Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" medley when you open it.

I bought that vest for a networking event for AIESEC and it was WAY too expensive, so I had to wear it again somehow!

These last few days have been wonderful.
Monday -> BEACH DAY #2 at Rockaway.
Wednesday -> SHOPPING DAY in Soho.
& yesterday was even more eventful. We went to see the Telectroscope... VERY cool. Then we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, went to Soho (again), then to 5th Ave. I was pretty much dead by the end of the day.

The yacht party was absolutely amazing. I had so much fun! I definitely DID NOT expect that at all.

I've been learning so much about God and Christianity. It's really uplifting :)
I went to my high school yesterday. It was amazing! Everyone my friends and I visited were genuinely happy to see us :) They kept telling us how much they miss our class & how things in the school are falling apart :( We surprised our Spanish teacher (who we all had for 3 whole years), hahaha. She was in the front of the classroom talking to a student, so we snuck in behind her & sat in the front row. When she turned around, she was so shocked to see us! She gave us all huge hugs and said that we made her day. Awww <3
I'm going to the Dominican Republic this summer again! I'm so excited!!
